Meet Dr. Diana Medina
Dr. Diana Medina is a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed psychologist in Arizona and holds an Authorization to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) in 42 U.S. states. She serves as Chief Psychologist at Roya Health and Chair of the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners. Dr. Medina is passionate about training the next generation of psychologists and currently leads the development of Roya Health's APA doctoral training program, alongside a dynamic group counseling curriculum designed to expand access to high-quality psychological care for children and families.
Prior to joining Roya Health, she served as Chief of Clinical Education at Copa Health, where she developed the organization's APA-accredited Psychology Training Program, providing practicum, internship, and post-doctoral training opportunities. Dr. Medina earned her Master's degree in School Counseling from Purdue University and her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Arizona State University.
She completed her health service psychology internship and post-doctoral training at Southwest Behavioral & Health Services in Phoenix, AZ where she later served as Program Director of the Erickson Outpatient Clinic, supervising doctoral practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and master's-level therapists.
